Where to ride

Area Orihuela costa

With over 300 days of sun per year, this might be the destination for cyclists. No high mountains here, but lots of nice hills that offer a nice challenge en are plenty for the average cycling tourist. We almost never see rain and that makes riding the bike all the more fun. Also in the winter temperatures are good and riding in shorts is often an option. From our shop in Orihuela Costa there are plenty of possibilities to enjoy a nice route, long and short. Follow the flat roads to Guardamar or Alicante. Do you want some more elevation? Ride to Cabezo de la Plata or a little further to Murcia and Albatera. Riding along the coast to Catagena has it’s charms. It’s perfect to do a coffee ride with your favorite group.

Off course there are plenty of possibilities, we are happy to show you what the best routes are. You can also join one of the many groups that start form set locations in Villa Martin and San Miguel in the morning. They know lots of fun routes. Take a look at my own Strava to see .gpx routes that you can download to your own device.
